Affording Adams County Christian Academy
Adams County Christian Academy proudly offers Variable Tuition. Tuition at ACCA is not a “one-size-fits all.” It is a range. A range that spans from 50-100% of the full cost of education. Variable Tuition adjusts tuition rates to meet your family’s unique financial position. ACCA can offer variable tuition because of the Pennsylvania EITC program. EITC allows all Pennsylvania taxpayers to redirect their state taxes to be spent at ACCA. We take these funds and award them to families that qualify for needs based assistance.
There are many ways ACCA can help you afford a Christian education. Simply apply online through our third party FACTS Grant and Aid website. There is a small investment of $35 payable to FACTS. Financial assistance is offered on the basis of demonstrated financial need. An application for admission or updated registration information needs to be on file at the time of your request.

What is Variable Tuition?
Variable Tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program like those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their families’ financial situation. Thus, this makes an Adams County Christian Academy education affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise join our school community
How Does Variable Tuition Work?
Any family (current or new) of a kindergarten through twelfth-grade student may apply for Variable Tuition if they are concerned about affording the full tuition rate at Adams County Christian Academy and they think they may qualify for the program. Many factors are considered when determining the tuition amount a family can pay including income, assets, unusual expenses, and the size of the family. The resources available for the family each year must also be considered in the Variable Tuition awards available at ACCA. An application for Variable Tuition does not affect the re-enrollment or admission process. Regardless of financial need, parents should initiate the re-enrollment or admission process as early as possible. Families may apply for Variable Tuition only after they have applied to the school.
It is not possible for a family or the school to estimate the tuition level for which a family qualifies without the completion of a Variable Tuition application. Applications are submitted directly to FACTS, a third-party agency. FACTS evaluates the application based on criteria set by the school and makes a recommendation to the school’s Variable Tuition team. Families are notified of the tuition level for which they qualify from the school’s financial office.
Unfortunately, the school is not able to provide Variable Tuition to every deserving student. We work within the available resources to make the school accessible to as many students and families as possible.
Do I need to apply to Adams County Christian Academy to receive confirmation of my Variable Tuition?
Upon completion of my Variable Tuition application, when will I receive confirmation of my Variable Tuition?
Typically, within 2 weeks of providing all the required information to our confidential third-party service.
Do I have to apply for Variable Tuition each school year?
Yes. The resources we have available each year will be considered once we have received the confirmation from FACTS Management for a family applying.
What is the cost to apply for Variable Tuition?
FACTS will charge $35.00 to apply for Variable Tuition
Robert and Shirley Wagner Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students entering first through 12th grade. A written request for this scholarship must be submitted by July 15. This scholarship is based on income and academics.
Family Referral Benefit

Current ACCA families Refer New Students to ACCA
Adams County Christian Academy is pleased to offer a referral benefit to our ACCA families. Families will receive a $250 credit on their account for each new family referred to ACCA. The new family must complete the school’s application, have their application approved and then register. When filling out the application, the new family must list which ACCA family referred them to our school.
Receive Your Benefit
The current, referring ACCA family will receive the benefit in two payments. The first will be applied January 1 and the second payment will be applied on May 1.
Terms and Conditions
If, for some reason, the referred student(s) does not complete the entire school year or does not meet all financial obligations, the full referral benefit will not be distributed.
- There is no limit to the amount of referral benefits a current ACCA family can receive.
- Referral benefits will only apply to first time students enrolled for the current school year.
- Referral benefits cannot be transferred between families.
- Referral benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.
