Walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days... –Deuteronomy 5:32
ACCA partners with parents in guiding their high school students to pursue excellence spiritually, academically, and socially so that the student establishes a foundation that will serve them throughout their lifetime. The curriculum, opportunities, and mentorship at ACCA will enable high school students to go on to compete in a global economy, and continue to advance the Great Commission. ServiceServing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is a desire we want to instill in our students. High school students develop a heart of service through opportunities to assist the needy by way of community service projects, Samaritan's Purse, John's Meals, food drives and more. ChapelArea pastors, guest speakers and teachers present a message to our students each week. Leading in prayer, music, and sharing from God's word are opportunities for high school students to take leadership roles during this worshipful time. ActivitiesHigh school students have many options for fun, leadership and involvement at ACCA. Retreats, School Spirit Week, music and drama performances, Spring Fling and the Senior missions trip are just some of the activities that enhance our high school students' experiences. |
I love ACCA for many reasons. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of ACCA, is growth. I personally have grown in so many ways because of where the Lord sent me to school. Before ACCA, I always thought that I wasn't the smartest. I struggled with reading, and over all, I wasn't enthusiastic about learning. But, when we found this school, I found so much more than school. I found a family that authentically cared about what I was struggling with in my academics, in my home life and in my spiritual life. They wanted the best for me! They poured themselves into me! At ACCA there are teachers that will challenge you to be the best student you can be. However, they don't just give you this challenge and expect you to handle it on your own. They help you, lead you and guide you through it all. Teachers pray with you. You get to pray with the younger students. ACCA is a circle of never ending love and compassion, and this is only possible because of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He makes ACCA what it is. To God be the glory! |
