Our Mission: Partnering with parents to transform students to be the leaders of tomorrow and impact the world for Jesus Christ by equipping them to be distinctively recognized by spiritual and academic maturity.
The academic pillar of Adams County Christian Academy is built upon a biblical perspective, through which students learn to view the world and their role in it. We strive for excellence, shaping our students to be world changers. We accomplish this with our educational professionals called by God to ACCA. Our teachers teach all subjects through a biblical lens and worldview. We set high academic standards and use a variety or resources, combined with carefully selected curriculum and research-based instructional practices to deepen students' intellectual skills.
Our Vision: Grounded in the love of Christ and through distinctive discipleship opportunities and academic rigor, ACCA prepares students to lead and impact their world for Jesus Christ.
ACCA Academic StandardsACCA's set of academic standards meet or exceed state, national, and common core standards. We ensure that our students are taught the concepts that will prepare them for high school, testing and college. We teach from a biblical worldview that prepares students to make disciples and to defend their faith.
Philosophy of EducationThe educational philosophy of Adams County Christian Academy is dependent upon the Bible for providing the viewpoint for interpreting any subject or school activity. The entire process of education is seen as a means used by God to bring the student to Himself through personal faith in Christ and to developing a Christian mind in Him so students can fulfill God's will in their lives, vocationally and personally. The mandate for Christian education comes from God's command to give Him preeminence in one's life, and from Biblical teaching that parents are responsible for the total education of their children. Therefore, the purpose of Adams County Christian Academy is:

1. Knowing Jesus Christ Personally as Lord and Savior“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”— John 15:4–5 2. Communicating Effectively“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”— Matthew 28:19–20 3. Thinking Critically to Widely Evaluate Information, Ask Questions, and Solve Problems as Lifelong Learners“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” —Matthew 10:16 4. Thinking Creatively to Ask Questions, Solve Problems, and Innovate for the Benefit of Society and the Glory of God“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”— Colossians 3:17 5. Building Healthy Relationships that Foster Christlike Behavior with Family, Friends, Church, and Community“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body- whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free- and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.”— 1 Corinthians 12:12–14 |
