Deepening Godly CharacterDeepening Godly Character
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. –Colossians 1:17
Middle School students in grades 6 -8 are challenged to grow and mature in their faith, studies, work ethics and relationships. In all aspects of school life, teachers work closely with middle school students to nurture and disciple them as they find their security in Christ and discover their God-given abilities.
Through attentive care, challenging curriculum, extracurricular activities in athletics and arts, and weekly biblical chapel services, your child will be equipped spiritually, academically, and socially to be a champion of the Gospel. AcademicsThe clear teaching of God's Word is the foundation for all other learning. At ACCA, we teach our students to understand God's Word and to apply it to all subjects, and to all areas of their lives. From Bible, Science, English, Social Studies, Spanish and Math to Fine Arts and Technology, our mission is the same: to make disciples of Jesus Christ through a biblical environment that prepares students to impact their world for Him. Discipleship and LeadershipThe middle school program actively engages a student’s potential energy and abilities through a biblical worldview curriculum that integrates God’s Word with academic content and discipleship. Attention is devoted to teaching lifelong relationship skills as well as study skills in preparation for excellence in academic achievement at the high school level. Leadership classes focus on biblical and godly leaders and teach students to become leaders for Christ. Opportunities for leadership, under teacher supervision, allow students to spread their wings and hone their leadership skills. ChapelCorporate worship as a student body enriches spiritual growth. Area pastors and guest speakers, music, prayer, bible drills and more provide students with an engaging time of worship. ActivitiesService projects such as Operation Christmas Child, visiting nursing homes, and Water Mission allow students to be the hands and feet of Jesus; prayer groups, Spiritual Renewal Week and retreats continue to develop faith and leadership. ACSI Speech Meet and Spelling Bee, writing contests and more further challenge students academically. Art, music, phys. ed./health, technology and performing arts round out a middle school student's experience. |
To me, my teachers are not just a learning source, but a family. I mean, after all, I see them 5 days a week. I love my teachers and feel that I learn to my full ability in their classes. We have fun, we grow closer together as a Christian family, we learn a lot, but most importantly, we grow spiritually in Christ our Savior!!! “I look forward to coming to teach each day. There is a caring, family atmosphere here. The students have servants’ hearts. We are raising disciples for the Lord to take the Good News to the world. The Spirit of the Lord is felt as soon as you drive on campus. |
