Fostering Love and IntegrityFostering Love and Integrity
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. –3 John 1:4
Students in elementary grades enjoy small class sizes and individualized attention. Cultivating a culture of love, truth and integrity builds Christ-like character.
At ACCA, our faculty and staff provide attentive care with an academically and spiritually enriching curriculum that will help draw out the best in your child. Students will be nurtured in the Word of God and encouraged in their walk with Christ, both in the classroom and through weekly chapel activities. Additionally, we provide Spanish, technology, music, physical fitness and art classes that will encourage a healthy and creative lifestyle for your child. Elementary CurriculumAcademically and spiritually enriching curriculum and activities nurture students in the Word of God and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. BibleThe goal of our elementary Bible classes is for every child to come to know the Lord as their personal Savior. Students learn about the nature of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, familiar Bible characters, the Old and New Testaments and more, all with Biblical life application each step of the way. English Language ArtsThe purpose of our English Language Arts program is for students to 1. Gain knowledge, understanding and wisdom through reading. 2. Communicate effectively in written and oral form. 3. Articulate and defend truth and combat falsehood. 4. Discern the intrinsic value and biblical truth of oral and written communication. ACCA educators biblically integrate English Language Arts instruction, teaching students to apply a biblical worldview to all situations. MathematicsThe consistency of mathematical truths demonstrates the orderliness, precision and consistency of God. It requires that students acquire critical thinking skills in order to creatively and logically solve problems, as well as reason abstractly and quantitatively. Students begin acquiring these skills with foundational concepts in Kindergarten. Their knowledge, thinking and problem solving skills grow as they progress to higher level concepts through their elementary years. Students learn that math is created by God and that it offers them a greater understanding of God’s creation and the knowledge of how to be better stewards of it. ScienceElementary science classes encourage interactive learning. Enriching lessons incorporate demonstrations, activities, and group discussions and introduce scientific process or inquiry skills through hands-on activities and projects. Each lesson points to the wisdom of God and His designing hand. Through study and experiment, students recognize the role of science from a Biblical worldview.
