Kindergarten at Adams County Christian Academy is a time of academic and social growth. For many of our students, this is the first time they will go to school for a full day. Through tender nurturing, these young students adjust to life as full-time students and God's world of knowledge begins to open up for them.

Our Reading and Language Arts (A Beka) program lays the foundation for language skills and takes the students on the path to reading. Through daily Bible lessons and weekly chapels, students learn about God’s word and the truth it contains. STEM activities are incorporated throughout the curriculum. Math skills begin to solidify and Science and Social studies lead to exploration of the world God created.
Interactions across grade levels keep students connected as one family, and enrich the learning environment. Multi-grade Physical Education, Technology, Music, Art and Spanish classes give these young students opportunities to work alongside other elementary students while learning valuable life skills.
Kindergarten students attend chapel each Wednesday morning. Middle school teachers and students present a bible story, skits, and activities focused on a bible truth each week. Students in Kindergarten and middle school form lasting bonds through this interactive chapel time.
Special events such as Grandparent’s Day, P.I.C.K.L.E.S., field trips, music programs, Academic Showcase and all-school chapels give opportunities for Kindergarten students to interact with others across all grades and share what they are learning.
Requirements for Admission
Kindergarten at ACCA is open to students who are 5 years old by September 1 of the year of entrance. A screening for readiness may be required prior to enrollment approval.
