EXAMPLE
Our desire is to provide all of our students the opportunity to develop leadership skills during their experience at LCA. Beginning with Elementary students being line leaders to High school students holding offices in clubs and student government, we purpose to help them become responsible Christian citizens.
We require each of our student leaders (in whatever capacity they lead) to demonstrate faithful Christian walks and Christ-like attitudes in each area of their life from academic achievement to classroom behavior and church involvement. Most leadership positions require teacher and parent recommendations along with other criteria. Students have opportunities to lead through athletics, Beta Club/National Honor Society, discipleship groups, the Equipping Servant Leaders elective, the Jamaica missions team, Chapel services, teacher assistant opportunities, and student leadership team, along with daily leadership in and out of the classroom setting through Christ-like behavior, attitude, and influence.
