Faith, Commitment, Excellence and Service

Adams County Christian Academy is a Christian school where students learn how to view the world through the lens of scripture.  Cultivating faith, commitment, excellence and service in our students prepares them for entering the work-force or college, firmly grounded in their belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  It is every faculty member's desire to instill these biblical principles in our students from Pre-K through grade 12:

Faith – Through one-on-one student/teacher mentoring, bible classes, small groups, chapels, missions conferences and cross-grades prayer partners, our students receive opportunities to grow in their faith and practice what they learn in scripture.

Commitment – Our teachers are committed to offering their students personal academic, spiritual and emotional mentoring and support.  Students interact with one another like family and make an effort to support one another in love.  As a school, we are committed to offering our best in all aspects and in turn, expect the same of our students and teachers, all to the glory of God.

Excellence - In all aspects of our school, our goal is to honor Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Jesus sets the standards for excellence and with Him as our example, we strive to offer academic programs proven by consistent SAT results, achievement testing and alumni successes in college and the work place.

Service - Jesus is also the ultimate example of a Servant.  Our desire is to provide opportunities that produce service-minded students who give back to their communities and churches.  Through service projects and mission trips, students learn responsibility, stewardship and being a servant of Christ.

We invite you to partner with us in raising the next generation of Christian leaders in our community and world.

 Theme for 2019-20 School Year

“Courageous: Living the adventure with bold conviction” is our theme for this school year. Our verse is Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

What comfort those words should bring! The Lord is so serious in His promise to be with us at all times that it is a command to be strong and courageous. We have nothing to fear or be discouraged about because our Lord and Savior is with us every step of the way!

Each quarter of this school year will have a sub-topic related to living our daily adventure with bold conviction. Conviction to obey God’s command to be strong and courageous in these four areas:

Courageous Living

Courageous Steps

Courageous Faith

Courageous Conversations

Through chapel lessons and weekly reminders, our prayer is that students will become bold in their faith and live courageously on the playground, in the classroom and at home! Please join us in praying for each student to live the Christian adventure with conviction!
