Student Life

Our Students: Engaged in Growth, Committed to Excellence, and Equipped for their Futures

Academic Life:

Elementary (PreK through 5th Grade):
Students in PreK and elementary grades enjoy small class sizes and individualized attention. Along with their core subjects, students receive instruction in Bible, music, physical education, art, computer (grades K-5). Students in grades 1-5 are also encouraged to participate in ACSI events, such as Spelling Bee, Speech Meet, and Math Olympics. Weekly chapel, concerts, and field trips round out our elementary students' school experience.

Middle School (6th - 8th Grade):
As students progress to Middle School, more opportunities are realized. Spanish, Health, Home Economics,Performing Arts, Music, Art and more are added possibilities.

Senior High (9th through 12th Grade):
Entering 9th grade begins a new journey toward graduation. With a requirement of 25 credits, students are challenged with a variety of courses, including Bible, Biology, Chemistry, English, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, History, Spanish, and more. Students are also encouraged to participate in Performing Arts, Music Innovations, Journalism, Yearbook, Gardening, and other service opportunities, clubs, and teams. Yearbook and Journalism allow students to pursue interests in writing and publishing.  Internships for seniors are also available.

Spiritual Life Activities:
See You at the Pole, National Day of Prayer, Thursday Prayer Groups, and Prayer Buddies between elementary and high school students are just a few of the ways we seek to nurture the spiritual growth in our students.  Through student leadership in chapel and prayer groups, students have the opportunity to deepen their relationships with God and peers.  Our goal is for students to know what they believe and have a continuously growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Life is short, serve hard. Service is one of our core values at Adams County Christian Academy -- there are many ways for you to get involved.
